# Walk them yourself.

Seven projects, open in your browser, no headset and nothing to install. These are the same 360° tours our clients used to approve their homes before a single wall went up — drag to look around, and use the hotspots to move between rooms.

## Why a 360° tour and not just renderings?

A rendering is a still image from an angle somebody chose. It tells you what a room will look like; it cannot tell you how the rooms relate, what you see from the sofa, or whether the sightline to the view survives the kitchen island. Standing in one spot and turning answers those questions, and it costs very little once the model exists.

What a 360° tour still cannot do is give you accurate perception of dimension — for that you need to physically walk the space at full scale in a headset. We set out the difference between all three, with price ranges, in [rendering versus 360 versus VR](/answers/3d-rendering-vs-vr-walkthrough).

## How these are made

Every tour on this page comes out of the same true-to-scale digital twin as the project's drawings and renderings. Nothing is modelled twice and nothing drifts between the drawing set and the picture, which is the entire reason the method works. Our [process page](/process) walks the phase sequence, and [3D rendering and VR](/3d-architectural-rendering) covers the standalone visualization service for builders, developers and architects.

## Using them well

- **On a phone**, drag to look around, or enable motion and turn physically.

- **On a desktop**, click and drag; most tours support fullscreen.

- **Share the link.** These open for anyone, which is why they work well for a partner who is travelling or a committee reviewing a design.

## Want one of your own home?

A 360° walkthrough is part of every design engagement we take on, and available on its own for builders, developers and architecture practices who need to sell something that does not exist yet.
