Four cities,
one team.

Our designers work across the country - the digital twin lets clients walk their finished home in VR from anywhere. These are the cities we call home.

Project geography

We take projects across Southern California, Texas, and select markets nationally. The digital-twin process is location-independent - clients walk their finished home in VR from anywhere.

03 /Before You Write

Four things that get you
a real answer.

You do not need all of it. But a message carrying these four gets a scoped reply instead of a list of questions, and usually saves a week.

01 / Where

The address, or at least the city and whether the lot is flat or sloped. Jurisdiction decides more than style does — see our service areas.

02 / How big

Square footage as it stands, and what you have in mind. Rough is fine.

03 / Does structure move

Walls, roof, additions — or finishes and furniture only. This is the line between an interior scope and an architectural one.

04 / Budget

Honestly. It is the fastest way for both of us to find out whether there is a fit. Our published ranges may help you frame it.

04 /Questions

Before you
get in touch.

What should I send you when I first get in touch?

Four things get you a real answer fastest: the address or at least the city and whether the lot is flat or sloped, the square footage you have now and what you have in mind, whether structure is moving or it is finishes and furniture, and your construction budget. Photos and any existing plans help. If you do not have all of it, send what you have — we will ask the rest.

Do you charge for the first conversation?

No. The discovery call is a free thirty-minute conversation with our design team. We use it to understand the project and to give you an honest read on whether we are the right firm for it, including when the answer is no.

How quickly will I hear back?

We acknowledge inquiries the same day during business hours — Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm Pacific — and reply within one business day. Messages arriving outside those hours typically get a same-week reply. A scoped proposal follows within about a week of the discovery call.

What does a project cost?

It depends on scope, and anyone who quotes you without seeing the project is guessing. We publish planning ranges rather than hiding them — a whole-home interior commonly runs $75,000 to $250,000 in Los Angeles, and full design (architect plus interior designer) together typically 8 to 15 percent of construction cost. Our design fee page sets out the full picture, and the cost calculator handles construction cost separately.

Do you work outside Southern California and Texas?

Yes, on select projects. Our studios are in Los Angeles, San Diego, Dallas and Austin, and we take work across Southern California and Texas as a matter of course. Beyond that we take projects selectively — the digital-twin process is genuinely location-independent, since clients review and approve the finished home in a 360° walkthrough rather than at a site meeting.

Can you work with my existing architect, builder or contractor?

Yes, and we do regularly. We can take the interior scope alongside another firm’s architecture, or provide visualization and documentation for a team that is already assembled. What matters is agreeing early who holds which decisions, because the gaps between scopes are where projects lose time. Our guide to designer versus architect covers where the line usually falls.

What is the smallest project you take on?

It varies by type. Single-room interior scopes — a kitchen, a primary suite — generally start around $25,000 in design fee. Visualization-only work for builders, developers and architects starts considerably lower and is quoted per deliverable. If your project is below that, say so and we will tell you honestly rather than stretching to fit it.

Do I need to be local to work with you?

No. A meaningful share of our clients are not in the city their project is in, and several are not in the country. The 360° walkthrough and VR review exist precisely so that approval does not depend on standing in a room. We will tell you where an in-person visit genuinely adds something and where it does not.

Will you sign an NDA?

Yes, on request, and it is a routine request in several of the markets we work in. We never publish client names or addresses, and we name portfolio work by style and scope rather than location. If you want the work kept off every channel including ours, say so at kickoff.

What happens after I sign?

Phase 01 of our process begins: survey and existing-conditions capture, then feasibility against what the site actually permits. Design follows from that rather than preceding it, which is the single thing that most reduces change orders later.
